WorkTracer is a management utility for repair shops. The app allows you to fully manage a repair shop, of virtually any type. It lets you manage customers, work orders, rates, taxes, and more. The graphical user interface is incredibly simple and there are tons of different aspects of the business that you can customize.
The first step that you must complete when you launch the app is to set up your shop's details. You can add a name, address, e-mail, etc. Then, you can change the date format, currency symbol, and set your taxes. The most important step is the one in which you set up your labor rates. You can tell the app how much you charge for an hour of work, and you can establish whether your work hours are rounded to the nearest minute or half hour, etc.
Once the application is set up. You can start creating new work tickets. For first-time customers, you have to add them first. Once they are added, a history of all the work you have done for them is kept in the system. You can see what kind of devices have been repaired and what has been done to them. All, from a single window. After a ticket has been created, you can go back and see it at any time for reference or adding new devices.
In short, WorkTracer looks like a very complete repair shop management tool. I found it very easy to set up and use, and the graphical user interface is very nice and simple.
